Domestic/Laundryistant

Thesuccessful applicant will:
* Seeto all washingdrying andironing of linens and residents personal clothing carrying outrepairs when able and needed keepingrecords and report of any damageditems.
* Sortand store dirty laundry into appropriatewash loads. And when ready deliverhang and storethe linens and residents clothes to their rooms ensuring correctreturn of personal clothing iseffective.
* Keeplinen stocks and collaborate with the Care Team to ensure that theclean linen is ready for use as well as guarantee the soiled linenis handled efficiently and in line with infection controlpolicy.
* Makesure that the laundry equipment is routinely cleaned andmaintained inline with policy and safely store and securechemicals and cleaning products during andafter use.
* Dothe vacuuming of rooms and corridors empty all waste bins and dealwith waste bags and their prescribeddisposal.
* Cleanthe gl mirrors furniture fittings fabriccarpets andequipment.
* Dustthe cobwebs and mop floorsurfaces.
* Cleanbathrooms and toilets with particular attention to guidelines forthe control of germs andinfestation.
* Ensurethe rooms are odour free.
* Reportany malfunction of equipment or fittings that maintenanceand also cleaningmaterials that need replacing.
* Adhereand maintain Company Policy on Control of Substances Hazardous toHealth (COSHH) at alltimes.
* Maintainclient and business confidentiality at alltimes.
