JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Document Controller to join our team in Aberdeen for a long-term opportunity with one of our key clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible to provide full Document Control support to modifications and assist in the development of document control systems and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Establish a process for managing of all engineering and supplier documents
* Implementation and management of the document control requirements for the Contract
* Able to manage varying tasks with often changing and competing priorities across multiple contracts
* Owner of document management system metadata
* Receipt and control of information from the client
* Liaising with the client and other departments, giving recommendations as required
* Promoting and providing general assistance of all aspects of document control activities
* System and document control training for the contract team
QUALIFICATIONS
* Great level of Senior or Lead Document Control experience is required for this position
* Experience with Documentum would be advantageous
* Engineering and/or operations background with understanding of Brownfields projects
* Demonstrates an excellent understanding of concurrent engineering processes & they relate to engineering deliverables
* Knowledge of main MS Applications
* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrates strong boundaries and has a strong work ethic
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective communication and relationship building skills
* Intermediate and advanced excel skills
