Executive Assistant to the Deputy CEO
Band 5 £29,970 - £36,482

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive, high-level, confidential support to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) across the broad portfolio of their role. The Locala Deputy CEO is also the Executive Director for Services and Professionals, Chief Nurse and Emergency Accountable Officer.
This new role requires a highly skilled and confident individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and resolve issues independently, and an individual with significant experience of supporting senior leadership and understanding their priorities in a busy and fast-paced environment.
The successful delivery of this role removes unnecessary demands and pressures from the Deputy CEO and allows the Deputy CEO to focus on their strategic leadership role. The post holder will also line manage the Personal Assistants to the Executive Directors and through the wider team, ensure that a responsive and adaptive administrative service is provided to the Executive Directors, and that effective administrative arrangements are in place for key governance and management meetings in collaboration with Corporate Governance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Executive-level support, including but not exclusive to, diary management, minuting of high-level meetings and production of accurate, well-presented timely correspondence, writing high-level reports, and some project management. The post holder will be required to make decisions within delegated authority, on behalf of the relevant Executive Director/s.
It is essential that the post holder has excellent keyboard, project management and communication skills and to be conversant with a range of computer packages including Excel and Word.
