I am in Partnership with a pharma client based in Berkshire who are recruiting for a Brand Manager to work on the pre-launch of a rase disease product due to launch in 2026. We are looking for a Brand Manager who has experience in this area as well as NPD and sales experience. The ideal person will have a background in pre launch activities, commercial skills, data skills along with a team focussed approach, the role is a high profile role within the business so you must be able to demonstrate strong influencing, leadership and organisational skills along with digital brand experience. Good fit for Behavioural Standards Experience of Rare/Ultra rare disease brand management digital marketing and CRM systems Product launch experience Line management experience Key Accountabilities Stakeholder management Build an internal network with medical, market access, Ensure insights gathered from NTA’s/ experts/ KOLs are shared with relevant internal stakeholders to align with clinical considerations for HCPs Ensure all activities with external customers are conducted in line with ABPI guidelines and policies. Proactively keep senior management up to date with regular brand/business review presentations. Engage with Partners Lead the cross functional Brand Team Manage agency relationships to ensure projects are delivered to a clear brief and are on time/budget Develop the Company and brand image though building positive relationships with relevant external bodies, key influencers and opinion leaders within the industry and profession, addressing meetings and attending conferences and general ‘customer liaison’ at all levels. Through development of strong customer facing relationships, the Brand Manager will be able to anticipate obstacles and their implications and working with the cross functional team to develop robust action plans, with clear leadership during implementation. Brand Management Lead the development of strategic direction and tactical plans for the brands, in collaboration with a broader cross functional team, to maximise commercial potential Commission relevant market research to gain insight and track initiatives Ensure marketing activities are delivered according to budget. Provide support across brands, as required, to deliver brand initiatives, materials and external meetings Lead in the creation of materials to facilitate the delivery of the brand plan/strategies Identify potential significant -positive or negative -deviations as early as possible and provide management updates. When course correction is required recommend or make adjustments with a sense of urgency Produce accurate and timely forecasts, budgets and market share information in consultation with the management team. Operate the necessary control/feedback mechanisms and recommend timely and appropriate action to achieve marketing and financial objectives. Maintain required knowledge of the market and competitor activities. Produce frequent market reports and competitor analysis information Operate within marketing budget, monitoring expenses and negotiating to ensure value for money is obtained. Development and validation of customer segmentation and engagement approaches Materials creation and management Lead on the development of materials to facilitate implantation of the Brand Plan Evaluate the success of previous campaigns and/ or tactics Lead and support the approval process for all promotional material, including (but not limited to) briefing documents, training resources, speaker decks, digital assets. Highly proficient in Veeva CLM, Veeva Engage, digital communication, metrics, closed loop marketing and CRM Producing materials to support market access People Management & Coaching Provide leadership and direction to NTA’s. Ensure team receives regular coaching visits Ensure suitable account plans are in place and measure execution Manage timely performance management of both good and poor performance Ensure continued team development in-line with business and personal needs Meet administration requirements in an effective and accurate manner, including, but not limited to holiday recording, sickness recording, expenses etc.
