We are looking to recruit a flexible member of administrative staff to join our team of Clinical Health Psychologists and our existing Service Coordinator. The successful candidate will assist with delivering a smooth and efficient support service. The post holder will provide a quality booking service in compliance with Trust policy including, managing appointments (attendance, cancellations, the filling of cancelled appointments etc) and managing patient records as required to ensure the smooth running of clinics. The role requires the ability to flex with the needs of the service providing a balance of reception, general administration and other duties to assist in ensuring our clients have a high quality experience.
The successful candidate will need to have good organisation skills, good communication skills in written and spoken English, the ability to handle a variety of tasks, and a positive attitude
The successful candidate will need to be customer focused, have an excellent telephone manner and proven IT skills (including experience of using Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook) with preferable additional knowledge of NHS IT systems.
The role is part time (18.75 hours per week).
To set up appointments (attendance, cancellations, filing) with one or more specialities within the Clinical health Psychology Service
To manage the sending out and receiving back of pre-session information and outcome measures
To help organise therapy-based groups
To take telephone calls form clients, record messages accurately and pass these on the clinicians in a timely manner
