As Sports and Leisure Manager, you will make this happen by ensuring our pool facilities operate at the highest levels whilst leading a team of qualified lifeguards. Who are we? Find out more about our holiday experience on our website: http://www.awayresorts.co.uk What you’ll be doing Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will oversee the management of the swimming pool and facilities. See what we have to offer (check out our website, some exciting stuff to get involved with). You’ll be looking after everyone’s safety, ensuring your areas of responsibility are safe, clean and meeting legal requirements and NOP’s. Within this role, you will be responsible for managing the programme and financial income for the Sports and Leisure department. You’ll also be leading by example: being incredibly friendly, answering guests’ questions and 'mucking in’ when you need to. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator who is seeking a challenge and enhance their career to the next level. Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need There’s plenty of training, but what we require you to already have: A current NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) A current PPO (Pool Plant Operations) qualification Great interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly. Proven leadership skills If your application is successful, you’ll have to apply for an Enhanced DBS. We need to be happy that this, together other information we may request, is all in order before you can join the team. Nice to have but not essential It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t).
