Role: Structural Engineer Location: Warwickshire Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 A Structural Engineer is required by my Client, an award winning SME, a highly successful Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy with multiple offices based throughout the UK. My Clients thriving Structures Division is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated Structural Engineer to join their Warwick Office. As a Structural Engineer you will be provided with the opportunity to work on a broad range of structural projects. T his role can offer you the opportunity to design and deliver a very diverse and generally challenging range of schemes, incorporating bespoke new build structures, refurbishment and heritage works. One of my Client's core values is re-use and sustainable engineering design. Given the nature of the role the ideal candidate will have sound experience in a wide variety of s tructural engineering projects and have experienced projects from concep tion to completion. Applicants will be Degree Qualified ideally with: Minimum 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent At least 4 years post qualification experience in civil and structural engineering relating to building design schemes Full UK driving license and own transport Chartered or near-chartered status with a relevant body (MICE or MIStructE) Role Detailed knowledge of structural design and detailing using all relevant UK and European codes of practice Producing preliminary design solutions and reviewing with clients as part of design strategy Producing detailed designs, calculations and specifications and technical reviews Attendance at design, project progress, and client engagement meetings Liaising with contractors, clients, third party organisations and stakeholders, answering queries in relation to technical detailing Design in all forms of construction including steelwork, reinforced / precast concrete, masonry and timber Structural appraisals of commercial, industrial and residential structures Complying with designers duties under the CDM Regulations Produce sketches, drawings and writing structural appraisal reports Knowledge of BREEAM, sustainability objectives and embodied carbon Supervising the CAD/Revit technicians and junior engineers on technical / construction details and undertaking QA reviews This is an excellent career opportunity for a Structural Engineer who aspires to still further progress with their career in a supportive and collaborative working environment.
