DT Teacher

One of our close partnership schools located in the Southampton area are currently looking for a Teacher of DT to work on a temporary but full-time basis after the Easter half term. Although this is a temporary contract for the rest of the academic year initially, the school are looking to appoint for September 2024. Therefore, there is a genuine opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract if desired. This is a great opportunity for a new qualified or experience Design Technology teacher to join a desirable school and well-established department. Part-time may also be considered at a minimum of 3 days per week.
The successful candidate will have high expectations of young people including a commitment to ensuring that they can achieve their full educational potential. They will embrace the ethos of the school and adopt high standards of behaviour as part of their role. One would be teaching both KS3 and KS4, so experience at GCSE level is mandatory.
