Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our purchasing and office operations. This is a hands-on role where you will be primarily responsible for managing purchasing processes, tracking parts, and assisting with purchasing documents as well as general office admin. We are seeking someone who is reliable, highly organised, and can thrive in a process-driven environment. The successful candidate will also take on the exciting responsibility of organising monthly office social events to keep the team engaged and connected.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate Purchase Orders (POs) based on the Bill of Materials (BOM) and job schedules.
* Manage suppliers to ensure parts are delivered on time and resolve any supply issues.
* Help create documents for Purchasing/Stores and track spare parts and part-only quotations.
* Verify job schedules and ensure all necessary parts are available for upcoming production.
* Assist with running stocktake POs and send confirmed orders to suppliers.
* Handle general office administration tasks, including stationary orders and regular office supplies.
* Organise and coordinate monthly team lunches and social events to foster a positive and engaged work environment.
* Help with team communications and support employee engagement initiatives.
