Position
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Domestic Assistant based at Lady Margaret Hospital, Milport.
Hours:
6.2 per week (Alternate weeks - Monday-Friday 4.00pm-6.30pm, 12.4 hours).
What you will do:
Working within the Domestic Services Department, you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties. You will provide a wide and varied range of Domestic Services which support Clinical Services throughout Ayrshire and Arran in line with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification to fulfil Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards and meet Facilities Monitoring Tool Targets.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare environment, especially mental health areas, would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on both your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.
You should be physically fit and understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment and be flexible in regard to areas worked within Lady Margaret Hospital, Millport. Full training will be provided.
