Pay & Hours:
We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.25 per hour, with a 39-hour workweek over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to suit your needs.
Job Role:
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team to prepare fresh ingredients and produce sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items, while providing excellent customer service and selling high-quality food. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for progression.
You will assist the Shop Manager in daily operations, supervise the team, drive sales, control costs, and develop the shop team to build a loyal customer base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet customers and create an inviting atmosphere.
* Receive and check daily deliveries.
* Manage stock and produce.
* Maintain excellent product knowledge.
* Prepare food according to specifications.
* Ensure food and produce quality control.
* Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
* Work efficiently within a team.
* Handle cash and operate tills.
* Open and close the shop as required.
* Manage shifts at various times during the week.
* Drive sales and minimize wastage.
* Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
* Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
