Haybrook College Trust educates young people aged 11 to 16 who have challenging and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) or medical needs. We nurture, engage and educate pupils who face barriers to learning by providing a range of high-quality educational programmes, helping to make positive changes in the lives of young people and ensuring the best possible educational outcomes.
Millside School is our special school provision for up to 85 young people with a range of social, emotional and mental health difficulties and complex needs. All pupils attending Millside School have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which is reviewed annually with additional interim reviews when required. Working with the teachers and leadership of Millside School and under the direction of the Deputy SENDCo, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and holding the EHCP Annual Reviews for Millside School pupils. The ability to communicate effectively with parents /carers and outside agencies is essential.
Your role will be to gather relevant information and reports; prepare the paperwork; co-ordinate and run the meeting; amend any paperwork as an outcome of the review and follow up on any actions as required. Full support and training will be offered. This role is full time however it may be possible to negotiate reduced hours.
This is a term time position paid on the Slough Level 5 pay scale (range 1 – 5). The starting salary is Level 5.1 £25,452 (£29,592 full-time Equivalent) for 39 weeks per year, term time plus Inset Days.
The ideal candidate will be from a mainstream or special school background with a strong understanding of SEND and have excellent IT, communication, administrative and organisational skills.
