Network Planning Manager – West
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required)
Salary: Upto Circa £55k Basic and OTE £60k+ Benefits
We are looking for a Network Planning Manager – West to join a well-established transport operator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced network planner to oversee the development of timetables, duties, and rotas that evolve to meet customer and stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop bus network proposals in collaboration with the Head of Commercial.
* Compile timetables that align with customer needs and strategic objectives.
* Create efficient duties and rotas, balancing operational efficiency and staff well-being.
* Continuously review service performance using data analytics tools (PowerBI, CitySwift, etc.).
* Support commercial decision-making through accurate data provision.
* Manage and develop the Planning Team, ensuring high-quality output.
* Assist in scenario modeling for new business development opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including BODS and Traffic Commissioner requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience leading network planning and scheduling changes.
* Proficiency in scheduling software (Omnibus, Hastus, Trapeze, etc.).
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Full UK driving license required.
Desirable:
* Degree-level qualification.
* Knowledge of the bus industry.
* PSV license and Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
