Building Maintenance Operative (Joiner)
Location: Preston
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £(phone number removed) (plus bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 39 hours a week
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Oversee the coordination and resolution of aftercare building issues.
2. Contact clients to arrange visits, ensuring prompt and professional service.
3. Follow work items lists and ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard.
4. Liaise with sub-contractors and trades to ensure timely resolution of defects.
5. Ensure that work is carried out safely, adhering to the Company's health and safety processes and procedures, as well as HSE requirements.
6. Complete associated paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Excellent customer service skills with a pragmatic approach and the ability to prioritise workload.
2. Multi-skilled in various trades, with essential experience in joinery.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. Enthusiastic, hard-working, and positive can-do attitude.
5. Self-motivated with a keen interest in being client-facing.
6. Full UK driving license.
7. Basic IT skills.
8. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
