Project Manager (M&E) – London & Home Counties (Site-Based) Are you an experienced M&E Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to work across multiple sites in London and the Home Counties? Our client, a leading specialist in mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects, is seeking a driven and qualified Project Manager to oversee projects across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, and Kent. This is a site-based role, with projects spread across the region, and the company’s head office located in Waltham Abbey. They are open to both permanent and contract candidates. Position: Project Manager (M&E) Location: Sites across London, Hertfordshire, Essex & Kent (Head office in Waltham Abbey) Contract Type: Permanent or Contract Sector: M&E Installations, Refurbishment & Fit-Out Salary: DOE Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage M&E projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Coordinate on-site activities, ensuring health & safety, quality control, and compliance with project specifications. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery. Prepare and manage project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with industry regulations and company procedures. Manage site teams and subcontractors, providing leadership and technical guidance. Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise. Requirements: M&E qualification (Mechanical or Electrical). SSSTS or SMSTS certification. Strong experience managing M&E projects within construction, refurbishment, or fit-out sectors. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple sites. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and industry standards. Full UK driving licence – ability to travel to multiple sites.
