Job Title: Export/Import Administrator (Temporary) \nLocation: Nottingham \nContract: Temporary 4-6 months \nSalary Range: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum\n\nAbout the Role:\nSF Recruitment are looking for a detail-oriented Export/Import Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary assignment based in Nottingham. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in export/import administration who enjoys managing international documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This role does require an immediate start so ideal for candidates who can commit to a straight start or is available on a short notice period.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare and review export/import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.\nLiaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipping processes and on-time delivery.\nEnsure all shipments adhere to local and international regulations, including customs requirements and trade compliance.\nMaintain accurate records of transactions, shipments, and import/export documentation.\nAct as the point of contact for queries related to export/import processes, both internally and with external partners.\nProvide general administrative support to the logistics and supply chain teams as required.\nRequirements:\n\nPrevious experience in export/import administration or a similar role is essential.\nStrong knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs regulations.\nExcellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.\nProficient in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nA proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.\nIf you are a motivated professional with a passion for export/import administration, we'd love to hear from you.
