2D CAD Engineer – Gas Industry Location: Stone, Staffordshire (with flexible working options)
Bohr Limited is growing, and we’re looking for a 2D CAD Engineer to join our team and help deliver innovative gas engineering solutions. This role will involve producing detailed technical drawings to support our Process, E&I, C&I, and Mechanical Engineers across a range of projects, including analyser and sample systems, innovation and R&D projects (internal and on behalf of global partners), pressure reduction skids, gas quality skids, and biomethane injection systems.
If you have experience creating 2D drawings for gas industry projects and are familiar with pressure and flow control systems, as well as electrical drawings like line diagrams and cable schedules, this could be the perfect role for you!
Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings for process, mechanical, E&I, and C&I systems.
Produce electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, cable schedules, and termination diagrams.
Support the design team in delivering drawings for pressure reduction skids, gas quality systems, biomethane injection units, and other pipeline and skid-based projects.
Collaborate with E&I engineers to ensure electrical designs meet project specifications and comply with UK gas industry standards.
Ensure all drawings comply with regulatory standards, including TD/13 and IGEM codes.
Manage drawing revisions and maintain document control processes.
Work both independently and in partnership with the engineering team to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.
What We’re Looking For ✅ Proven experience producing 2D CAD drawings for gas industry projects.
✅ Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software. Experience creating electrical drawings, including line diagrams, cable schedules, wiring schematics, and termination diagrams.
✅ Experience managing drawing revisions and document control processes.
