Role Overview
• We are currently seeking 1 Delivery Driver/Picker,Packer to join our small friendly team in a warehouse environment. The role involves preparing orders for shipment and ensuring products are packed efficiently and accurately. You will also be responsible for delivering the products to our lovely customers – so if you like variety, this role is a good fit for you.
• No experience necessary since full training will be given
Responsibilities – Packing
• Pick customers’ orders promptly and accurately
• Highlight any stock shortages and make substitutes where necessary
• Record any damaged products
Responsibilities – Driving
• Load customer orders onto van and check that all paperwork is correct
• Deliver customer orders in a timely manner offering to put meals into customers’ freezers as required
• Collect cash and cheques from customers and store safely
• Check van daily and report any issues
* Make sure our vulnerable customers are ok and wellbeing is reported back if needed.
Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and organisation skills
• A can-do attitude
• No more than 3 points on driving license
• Over 25 for insurance purposes
• We will run a DBS check since you will be entering customers’ houses who are vulnerable
• Good time management
• Friendly, customer service focussed manner
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
