We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered Nurse to join a busy and well-respected Integrated Learning Disability Service, covering the Lancashire locality.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain wide-ranging experience of community services for people with learning disabilities, striving to provide high-quality services in partnership with other agencies.
We are looking for a registered Nurse with up-to-date knowledge of health policy for people with learning disabilities. Adaptability, good communication skills, and self-motivation are essential.
The Community Learning Disability Team in Pennine is a friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team based across 3 sites: Darwen, Accrington, and Burnley.
Main Duties of the Job
To support the provision of a community service to individuals with a learning disability in a defined area of Lancashire, ensuring healthcare needs are met.
The post holder will be responsible for a defined caseload alongside supervision of junior members of staff.
