Blue Personnel is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join a specialist outreach service supporting adults experiencing complex challenges such as homelessness, substance use, domestic abuse, criminal justice involvement, and mental health difficulties.
This role is part of a specialist outreach initiative and forward-thinking programme funded by national initiatives, designed to drive sustainable, systemic change for individuals facing multiple disadvantages.
You will work within a trauma-informed framework, collaborating with a network of voluntary and community sector organisations to deliver life-changing support across Surrey.
What You'll Do
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical oversight, leadership and support to the specialist outreach service.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Clinical Supervision & Staff Wellbeing:
o Delivering group and 1:1 clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions for staff across a range of voluntary sector services.
o Promoting psychological wellbeing and resilience among staff working directly with individuals facing complex challenges.
* Trauma-Informed Support:
o Collaborating with outreach workers to develop psychological formulations for clients and initiating multi-agency trauma-informed support.
o Assisting clients in creating and embedding safety plans while using a psychological formulation model to advocate for reasonable adjustments from other services.
* Strategic Contributions:
o Attending and contributing to referral, review, and allocations meetings weekly.
o Participating in clinical supervision with a consultant clinical psychologist.
o Supporting the dissemination of learning and best practices across the wider system to drive long-term, sustainable change.
* Community Engagement:
o Visiting community partners as needed, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model.
o Representing the programme at various forums to champion its principles and values.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist who is:
* Passionate about trauma-informed care and committed to improving outcomes for individuals facing multiple disadvantages.
* Skilled in providing clinical supervision and reflective practice to multidisciplinary teams.
* Experienced in working collaboratively with voluntary and community sector organisations.
* Flexible and able to travel across Surrey to engage with community partners.
* Available to attend mandatory virtual meetings on Mondays and clinical supervision on Tuesdays.
