Our client is a large healthcare organisation looking for an Engineering Maintenance Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background to supervise building operations and manage the safe operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within a large healthcare site in the Keighley, Bradford region.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Manage the operation of complex Healthcare Mechanical systems, e.g., AHUs, Hot and Cold water systems, Medical Gas pipeline systems, Legionella checks, Pneumatic tube and pumping systems, boiler plant, refrigeration, and chiller plant equipment.
2. Handle risk assessments and ensure compliance is maintained.
3. Manage a small team of engineers, including training and supervision of operational maintenance staff, recruitment, absences, and staff development performance.
4. Ensure Health and Safety regulations are complied with.
5. Work closely with the Senior Operations Engineer on projects, people supervision, and management of building operations.
6. Work flexible hours and be available on-call for escalation.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
1. Hold relevant technical qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, e.g., HND/HNC Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering (Preferred).
2. Have a strong engineering background within a facilities management environment (Essential).
3. Have strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, ideally with relevant qualifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH (Preferred).
4. Hold previous experience working within a large commercial building, ideally in a healthcare environment, and knowledge of BMS systems (Preferred).
5. Have excellent people management skills; previous roles could include being a team leader, supervisor, or manager.
Role Benefits:
1. Salary up to £41,000 per annum.
2. 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri hours.
3. 26 days + Bank holidays.
4. Basic pension.
