With an ambitious roadmap ahead, we’re growing the team and looking for a Designer/Artworker within our thriving, award-winning creative and marketing department. Supporting Printed.com’s broad product mix, we have multiple streams of creative work, spread across a variety of customers and sectors in a diverse role within our busy studio environment, producing artwork and graphics for a wide range of materials, including print, digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and more.
This role requires an excellent understanding of artworking, print processes, photo retouching, online asset specifications, and project sign-off. You’ll be very well organised and have responsibility for quality control and brand guardianship, with an eye for typography, layout, imagery, and production. You will need to be accomplished in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, plus have a broad knowledge of the capabilities of other software that exists in a studio environment. Figma, UX, or PPT design skills will also be a big advantage.

Accountabilities:
Artworking
* Taking projects from concepts and initial layout and preparing production-ready artwork files for print and digital projects.
* Demonstrating a solid understanding of our brand guidelines to ensure accuracy of work delivered.
* Following established methods of quality assurance and operational processes.
Design Support
* Maintain an up-to-date Digital Asset Management Tool.
* Assisting the Creative Team Lead and Senior Designer ad-hoc on any photoshoots or brand projects as requested.
* Remain up-to-date with current, plus up-and-coming production processes and digital outputs/formats.
Team Responsibilities
* Be a key member of the Creative team, supporting the Senior Designers wherever necessary.
* Work alongside all team members harmoniously to deliver campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience
* Strong creative and technical ability in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with excellent UI, branding, layout, and typography skills: Essential.
* At least 3 years experience working in-house or Agency side in a creative studio capacity: Essential.
* Strong asset management experience: Essential.
* Proven experience with motion graphics/video creation (After Effects, Premier Pro, etc): Desirable.
* Excellent understanding of print and designing for print: Essential.
* Working knowledge of AI-assisted design, using tools such as Midjourney: Desirable.
* Starting salary of £28,000-£30,000.
