Early Years Practitioner

This post is open to being All Year Round or term time only depending on the age range experience of the candidate (37 hours per week)
Grade 2, Points 5-6, andpound;21,575-andpound;21,968 (Level 3 qualified)

The post holder will have the ability to work across the age phases within the Centre to deliver the key principles of effective teaching, learning and welfare requirements, so to improve outcomes for all children. The position is to support and contribute to the teaching, learning and care of children from birth to five years, through outstanding early years practice, good organisational and interpersonal skills and to meet the highest standards of safeguarding.

A minimum relevant (DfE validated) Early Years Level 3 qualification is required, together with a minimum of 2 yearandrsquo;s relevant experience of working as a key-person with young children (Birth to 5).andnbsp; A English qualification at Grade C or above (old grades) or Grade 4 or above (new grades) is required if the childcare qualification has been achieved after September 2014.andnbsp; Knowledge of the Revised EYFS and KCSIE is essential.andnbsp; A Paediatric First Aid Certificate is a desirable requirement.
