About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance operations of the hotel. You will be responsible for the upkeep of all hotel facilities, ensuring that everything is functioning at peak performance, and addressing any maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities for the successful Maintenance Supervisor include (but not limited to):
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities
Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and company policies.
Manage preventive maintenance schedules and repairs to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
Handle emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by hotel management.
The person we are looking for as a Maintenance Supervisor has….
Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role, preferably with supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with hotel staff and guests professionally.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.
Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus.
Strong organizational skills.
