Salary: £75k + £20k commission

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Presales Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping high-level designs (HLDs), responding to tenders, and crafting compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across enterprise networking technologies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Presales Engineer specializing in Cisco networking, your responsibilities will include:
* Tenders and RFPs: Lead the technical response for tenders and RFPs, crafting compelling proposals based on Cisco’s SD-Access, ACI, and ISE solutions.
* High-Level Design (HLD): Develop and deliver HLDs for Cisco enterprise networking solutions, with a focus on Software-Defined Access (SD-Access), Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), and Identity Services Engine (ISE) for secure and scalable network architectures.
* SD-Access Implementation: Design secure and automated campus network solutions using Cisco SD-Access, enabling policy-driven segmentation and simplified network management through Cisco DNA Center.
* Data Center Networking: Propose and design next-generation data center solutions using Cisco ACI to provide policy-based automation, application agility, and seamless hybrid cloud integration.
* Identity and Security: Incorporate Cisco ISE into network designs to enable centralized authentication, policy enforcement, and visibility across enterprise environments.
* Scalable Solutions: Architect networking solutions that ensure scalability and resilience, utilizing Cisco’s Catalyst 9000 switches and Nexus data center platforms.
* Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their networking challenges and demonstrate the value of Cisco’s solutions in achieving their business objectives.
* Technology Advocacy: Stay current with Cisco’s innovation roadmap and advocate for adoption of technologies that address evolving enterprise networking needs, such as automation, zero-trust security, and hybrid work enablement.
What we need:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional who meets the following criteria:
Experience & Expertise
* Proven Presales Experience: Demonstrated success in presales roles, including crafting high-level designs (HLDs), responding to RFPs, and delivering technical presentations.
* Cisco Knowledge: In-depth expertise in Cisco networking technologies, particularly SD-Access, ACI, and ISE, along with a broader understanding of Cisco’s enterprise portfolio.
* Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are strongly preferred. Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center and Nexus platforms is a plus.
Technical Skills
* Enterprise Networking Expertise: Solid understanding of networking principles, including routing, switching, security, and automation within enterprise environments.
* Solution Design: Experience in designing scalable, secure, and resilient network infrastructures.
* Technology Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of networking trends, including software-defined networking (SDN), zero-trust security models, and hybrid cloud integration.
Soft Skills
* Excellent Written English: Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and professionally in written proposals, HLDs, and RFP responses.
* Presentation Skills: Confident and persuasive in delivering presentations to technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders.
