A Part 2 Architect with some experience is required for a medium-sized, vibrant, award-winning architectural practice.
The practice is located in a beautiful converted barn and has a young, dynamic, friendly team. Projects include commercial developments and high-end residential properties, including modern contemporary new builds and bespoke houses.
The practice offers clear career progression and encourages staff to work across all RIBA stages, gaining diverse project experience.
The successful candidate will work on various commercial and residential projects. Since this is a client-facing role, confidence in managing projects, technical drawing, and design skills are essential.
The Role:
* Assisting the Architect throughout all RIBA stages, managing the design process
* Coordinating a design team, working with in-house and external professionals
* Conducting site visits to monitor progress and budget
* Liaising with clients and external consultants, attending meetings, and ensuring project schedules are maintained
The Candidate:
* Good knowledge of UK building regulations
* Client-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong technical skills
* Ability and willingness to deliver projects
* Up-to-date knowledge of planning stages and methods
* Driving license and access to a car (public transport is limited in the area)
