This post is based in the acute trust and includes consultant support and leadership in the hospital specialist palliative care multidisciplinary tea, direct patient visits, and supporting advice to other healthcare professionals. Main duties of the job The successful candidate would join 4 other consultants working across the county. St Barnabas Hospice also employs 3 specialty doctors, a specialty trainee (StR) and two GP VTS trainees. The on call commitment is currently a 1 in 7 but on successful recruitment would be a 1 in 8. This is a first on call to the 11 bed inpatient hospice in Lincoln and includes supporting a 24/7 telephone advice line to healthcare professionals across Lincolnshire. We would be happy to consider candidates wanting to work part-time (minimum 8 PAs) or job share.
