AMJ Recruitment are recruiting for an Experienced Warehouse & Technical Support Operative, based at our well established client based in Nuneaton, on a Permanent Basis. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (08:30am until 17:00pm) Salary Details: £28500 per annum (Reviewed upon passing probationary period) Term - Permanent Your mission: As our Warehouse & Technical Support Operative, you will share your time between two main missions, depending on the priorities and organization of the service: 1- Technical support • Technical advice for our internal and external customers • Working with our customer service team to solve problems and implement improvements • Maintenance, inspection and repair as required • Support to our sales team with technical queries • Visiting customers to assist in repair and to offer advice/answer queries 2- Warehouse support • Receiving deliveries of goods • Planning the use of warehouse space and the distribution of goods • Storing goods in the warehouse • Preparing and dispatching orders for customers • Check that goods prepared for dispatch comply with the invoice • Activities related to shipping goods - packaging products according to established procedures, marking and addressing shipments, loading orders onto delivery trucks • Handling warehouse equipment - including forklift trucks, reporting damaged products to the manager, cooperating with other company departments, e.g. the sales department. Your profile: • Technical professional experience, preferably in the maintenance, repair and manufacture of systems or experience as a service technician. • Knowledge of electricity and/or plumbing would be an asset • Independent, self-reliant and proactive way of working • Adaptable, working environments will be varied and changeable.
