Job Title : General Physiologist- Harrogate Banding : 6 or 7 Start date: 04/02/2025 Duration: 3 months Location : Harrogate Working Hours: Full time and Part time Rate : £ 2 4 - £ 35 per hour We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Physiologist to join our team in Harrogate. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing comprehensive physiological assessments and care to patients. As a Band 6 or 7 General Physiologist, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and managing a variety of physiological conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. What will your responsibilities be : In this role, you will conduct a wide range of physiological tests and assessments, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological evaluations. You will interpret test results, provide detailed reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. You will also be responsible for educating patients on their conditions and management strategies, ensuring they understand their treatment plans. Your role will involve maintaining and calibrating diagnostic equipment, adhering to health and safety standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. As an Invasive Cardiac Physiologist, you will assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angiographies, and electrophysiology studies. You will work closely with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of cardiac conditions. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Clinical Physiology or a related field Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., RCCP or AHCS) Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS Proficiency in performing and interpreting a variety of physiological tests Experience in invasive cardiac procedures such as catheterizations and angiographies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to continuous professional development Knowledge of current physiological care guidelines and best practices Why work with Pulse?
