Job Details Grade: 8A Hours: 35 Hourly Rate: £19.54 - £21.20 Salary: £35672.14 - £38701.64 per annum Contract Duration: Permanent Recruitment Profile An opportunity has arisen for a Research Officer/Planner within the Planning Policy & GIS team. Reporting to the Planning Policy Lead Officer, you will establish and maintain effective systems for monitoring the information and research needs of the planning service, particularly contributing to the Development Plan preparation, monitoring and review process. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team, as we start work on the next Local Development Plan (LDP). You will join a dedicated team of Planning Officers, Community Place Planning & Regeneration Officers and GIS specialists. Essential Degree (or Diploma) in a social science-related discipline • OR Degree (or Diploma) in another field plus significant direct relevant job experience A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
