Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Fee Earner, you will:
1. Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims across Scottish jurisdictions.
2. Investigate and assess potential claims, engaging with medical experts to gather evidence.
3. Draft legal documents, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in pre-litigation stages.
4. Prepare cases for trial, working alongside senior team members on high-value, sensitive cases.
5. Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients, maintaining strong client relationships.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you should:
1. Be qualified in Scots Law with at least 2 years of experience handling Clinical Negligence matters.
2. Have strong experience in managing multi-track cases.
3. Possess excellent client management and communication skills.
4. Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
5. Be comfortable managing complex caseloads and working under tight deadlines.
