We are currently seeking applications from GDC registered qualified dental nurses to join our Dental Team at Barts Health NHS trust.
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. This is a fix term, 10-month contract, 5 days per week that will be based on the Orthodontic Department. The main work site will be The Royal London Dental Hospital in Whitechapel.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a compassionate and caring approach to patients, be well organized, well presented, practice excellent Infection prevention and Control, be flexible in their approach to work, be able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative.
The Orthodontic Department is formed of a multidisciplinary team which provides a range of Orthodontic dental treatment to our patients. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a range of staff including consultants, specialist dentist’s and post graduate students.
Main duties of the job
In becoming a Barts Health Dental Nurse, you will be joining an organisation in which safe and compassionate care is at the heart of what we do, and that includes our staff. We have numerous staff benefits as well as providing subscription to a training package which supports our Dental Nurses in completing their annual GDC eCPD.
Candidates must hold a Dental Nursing qualification and have a good level of experience working as a Qualified Dental Nurse. Registration with the GDC is mandatory.
Previous experience of working within a Dental Hospital or similar setting, is desirable. A post qualification in Conscious Sedation Dental Nursing or keen interest to undergo training, would be an advantage.
