Our client based in Rolleston is after a Despatch Coordinator to cover various tasks but primarily focusing on outward goods scheduling and planning.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Based in Rolleston, our client is a fast-paced building material supply company. They service a range of clients, and maintaining efficient service and delivery is paramount. They are after someone who has great time management, previous scheduling experience (ideally), and a great attitude!
Tasks:
1. Coordinating deliveries, ensuring accurate loads and completing necessary paperwork
2. Operating a forklift
3. Assisting the Operations Manager with various tasks
4. Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting stock-takes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1. Basic understanding of computer systems for managing delivery schedules
2. Familiarity with the Christchurch area and optimal delivery routes
3. Maintain clear and effective communication to ensure daily goals are achieved
4. Full driver's licence; forklift licence a bonus but not required
