Who You Are We are seeking an experienced social worker with more than 3 years of post-qualification experience in the field of social work, particularly specializing in Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC). The ideal candidate must have completed their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and must be proficient in performing age assessments for UASC, with a strong understanding of immigration and housing legislation. Familiarity with the statutory guidance and processes related to looked-after children and leaving care is essential. Additionally, candidates must be car drivers with access to a vehicle. What the Job Involves Your role will involve joining our dedicated UASC Service in Liverpool, where you'll work under stable, permanent team and service manager leadership, benefiting from regular reflective supervision. You will engage in a hybrid working model, which requires at least three days per week in Liverpool, leveraging the local support services, including Personal Advisors. The role offers a minimum 3-month contract, ensuring stability for the children and young people served. Benefits include up to £42 per hour based on experience, a 35-hour workweek, a supportive team environment, regular supervision, and ICT kit and support.
