Description We are looking to appoint a motivated, adaptable Playworker for our After-School Club with high expectations and initiative. The role would suit an individual that loves children, is organised and creative and able to bring ideas about fun learning. You will need to have good English and maths skills, as well as the ability to motivate children. You will be patient, understanding and able to build a positive relationship with children, staff and parents. You will be expected to take a pro-active role in the support of the social needs of children, managing behaviours and ensuring the welfare of every pupil. Recent relevant training relating to the role, including Safeguarding or the willingness to undertake training, would be beneficial. A willingness to work as part of a team, as well as taking initiative when required, is essential. You will preferably have experience of working with children but other relevant experience will also be considered for the right candidate.
