We’re seeking a People Administrator to join our People Team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. If you have worked in a busy People department before and have a strong administrative background, we’d love to hear from you Reporting to the People Partner, you will assist in all aspects of People administration throughout the entire employee lifecycle providing troubleshooting advice to all members of Stonbury staff. • Be the first point of contact for all People related enquiries to provide generic advice and guidance on policy, procedures and processes, escalating appropriate where necessary • Effectively manage a generic email address in addition to your own • Produce documentation including offer letters, contracts, new starter paperwork, leavers’ letters • Record and report on sickness absence • Respond to external requests for references for former members of staff • Create and maintain accurate People files • Organise Occupational Health Screening appointments • Scan, save and post all training certificates • Process starters, movers, and leavers • Own administration of benefits, reward, and recognition • Assist with CV screening and interview booking • Keep track of probationary and development reviews for new starters, sending out reminders to line managers as appropriate • Support the Training and Talent Administrators when necessary We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have • Educated to GCSE level including passes in Maths and English • Previous experience of working in a busy People office • CIPD qualified to Level 3 • Administration experience • A good communicator, able to deal confidently with a variety of people face-to- face, in writing and on the telephone • Able to work alone using own initiative to solve problems and complete daily tasks • Strong IT skills, in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook • Proven planning and organisation skills with ability to prioritise workloads In return for your hard work, you will receive • £28k to £30k depending on experience • Death in service • Eyewear scheme • Discounts on retail, shopping, gym access and cinema tickets 6% company pension contribution • 24 days' holiday We are a direct delivery specialist contractor to both the water industry and wider water environment.
