A fantastic, creative and friendly Primary School in the London Borough of Camden is looking to recruit a Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant. The Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant role is a full-time and long-term role, for an ASAP start.
As a Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Primary School children, with a range of SEN needs. You will be supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and children with behavioural difficulties.
This opportunity is ideal for a graduate looking for experience to support their future career working with children. This position would be perfect for Psychology graduates seeking a full-time role, supporting children with a range of SEN.
Job description:
* Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
* Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties
* Based in Camden
* ASAP Start
* Full Time & Long Term
* 105 - 110 per day
Person Specification:
* Must have a good degree from a reputable University
* Good understanding of SEN is required
* Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
* Passionate about supporting children with SEN
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Calm and compassionate nature
