Location: Oahu, Hawaii
Climate17 are working closely with a Hawaii based direct current technology innovator and a microgrid developer supported by a large international investor. They develop and finance microgrids with photovoltaic, battery energy storage, hybrid DC appliances and customized energy management systems to transform energy delivery.
They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Sales Engineer to join their team in driving clean, renewable energy. They’re passionate about giving people control over how they power their business and homes without the need for fossil fuels that harm the environment. With great career progression, an entrepreneurial culture, and exciting technology, this role would suit a person who has an engineering background and an understanding of battery energy storage software or solar energy.
Responsibilities
1. Sources and develops self-generated leads and appointments with potential customers
2. Conducts sales presentations for potential customers
3. Evaluates customers’ knowledge and needs, providing technical support to contractors, clients, and other stakeholders
4. Manage the pipeline of project activity from prospect to installation
5. Meets minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership
6. Analyze and determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach for projects
7. Conduct site visits to assess performance of Adon’s products and identify opportunities for improvement
8. Assist the company’s engineers with installation, commissioning, and testing, as needed
9. Assist with preparing specification, drawings, and calculations for projects
10. Maintains current knowledge of latest Adon Renewables developments by attending sales meetings, events, training, and industry events
Qualifications
1. 4 Year Engineering Degree (Required), Mechanical/Electrical (Preferred)
2. Knowledge of Solar, HVAC, Battery, or other renewable energy technologies (Required)
3. Driver’s license (Required)
4. Travel to construction sites (Required)
5. Professional Engineer (PE) certification (Preferred)
6. Familiarity in AutoCAD and commercial construction (Preferred)
7. MBA or business training (Preferred)
8. Customer service: 3 Year (Preferred)
9. Sales Experience: 3 Year (Preferred)
