Job Title: Events Planning Manager
Salary: depending on experience c£36,000pa
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

We are seeking a talented Events Planning Manager to lead the planning of our race day dining and high-end prestigious events. In this dynamic role, you will manage a dedicated Events Co-ordinator who will support you in your success!
What you’ll do
1. Manage Fine Dining and 1711 by Ascot Events planning, delegating workload effectively.
2. Communicate with the Fine Dining Operations team to ensure proper information sharing.
3. Coach and mentor the Events Co-Ordinator and attend regular one-on-one meetings.
4. Advise the food production team on menus required for each race day.
5. Liaise with kitchen, cellar, and marketing teams to meet client needs and produce collateral.
6. Ensure accurate management of client and sales information through the system.
7. Manage table plans, create menu tasting notes, and develop effective communication with internal and external clients.
8. Provide administrative support on all race days for fine dining, handle inquiries, and assist with invoicing.

4. Good customer service skills, polite telephone manner, excellent written communication.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
6. Flexible approach to working hours especially on race days.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize information in an extremely busy environment.
Desirable
1. Experience of working within Events/Hospitality industry.
2. Experience in customer service or administration lead role.
3. Experience of People Management.
