Role: Senior Finance Business Partner
Reports to: Finance Director
Location: Manchester / Macclesfield, Hybrid

The Opportunity
The primary function of this role is to support the finance team in delivering key insights and analysis across the group, helping to develop a suite of robust reporting information and supporting the Senior Leadership Team in strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop strong working relationships with the Managing Directors of each business unit to help drive review of key performance indicators and provide meaningful strategic insight.
* Demonstrate an inquisitive mindset and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders, including commercial and operational teams, through a collaborative, business-partnering approach
* Provide clear, concise and timely reporting and analysis on the key business drivers of financial performance. Inclusive of the analysis of margins, ensuring the accuracy of data and identifying the performance of each business area.
* Work closely with Business Information team to automate reporting where possible and ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of data used throughout reporting suite
* Prepare budgets and forecasts to meet each business and group financial and strategic targets.
About You
* Technical; A Finance or Commercial Analyst / Business Partner with proven experience in a data heavy environment within an E-commerce, FMCG or Retail setting. Experience working with strategic brand partners an advantage. Previous ERP experience essential - trading
* Team Player; A ‘sleeves-rolled up’ attitude with a desire to learn.
* Communication; An individual who has gravitas; a confident communicator with the ability to support and engage colleagues from different functions and effect positive change.
* Problem Solving; A curious approach with attention to detail, able to spot issues and create ideas through process improvement.
* Analytical; An analytical, detail orientated approach to reporting MI across the finance function and the wider business to ensure a 'no surprises' reporting environment, accompanied with advanced Excel ability.
