THE JOB This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing retail team, drive sales, and create memorable experiences for customers, all while supporting the overall growth of our business. What you'll be doing: Taking the reins of the Retail Team, maximising sales opportunities across the site while maintaining high customer service standards. You'll be a key figure in ensuring we consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences. Working closely with the General Manager to drive sales performance and profitability, hitting key targets and helping achieve business goals. Leading by example, ensuring every retail colleague is equipped to offer the best customer service and optimise sales opportunities in the branch. Your leadership will inspire the team to exceed expectations. Championing talent within the team by providing coaching, support, and guidance to develop colleagues' skills. You'll foster a positive, engaging environment where career growth is encouraged, and team members are motivated to stay and grow with us. Manage Stock & Debt: Work alongside the General Manager to manage stock effectively, ensuring we meet retail targets, minimise aged stock, and stay within company credit policies by efficiently managing customer debt. Ensure Operational Excellence: When the General Manager is away, you'll ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly operating procedures are adhered to, maintaining smooth operations across the branch. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED Essential: A natural leader who knows how to motivate a team and drive performance. Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on maximising sales and profitability. Passion for customer service with the ability to consistently inspire your team to provide outstanding service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and develop individuals. Experience in managing stock and customer debt, ensuring targets and policies are met. Desirable Agricultural experience. AMTRA RAMA IOSH Managing Safely qualification. Competent of using Microsoft applications systems and fully IT literate.
