An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and committed individual to job share as Student Welfare Officer at All Saints Catholic College.
Applicants must be able to handle a variety of tasks quickly, effectively, and calmly, and be able to work to tight deadlines, having excellent organisational, administrative, personal and IT skills, and work collaboratively with the other colleague.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact in the school’s medical office on their working days, providing a highly efficient first aid service, dealing with staff, students, parents, and external agencies in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner.
You will be required to administer first aid and medication as required, as well as keeping and updating accurate records. You will also provide student mental health first aid triage.
Relevant first aid experience is essential, and up to date first aid training is beneficial. However, first aid training will be provided, including Youth Mental Health first aid training.
All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category, and we received a “Good with Outstanding Catholic Life and Mission” judgement from our Catholic Schools Inspection in March 2025.
