About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and support local schools on an ad-hoc basis. This is an ideal opportunity to work flexibly, supporting pupils in their learning while experiencing a variety of school environments.
Responsibilities
* Provide classroom support to teachers and assist in delivering engaging lessons.
* Support individual pupils or small groups to enhance their learning and development.
* Setting up and tidying away learning materials.
* Supervising children during breaks and lunchtimes.
* Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
* Supporting children with additional needs (SEN, EAL, etc.).
* Adapt to the needs of different schools and year groups.
* Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
* Is enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable.
* Can commute within the Forest Row area and possibly further afield.
* Has a passion for working with children and supporting their education.
* Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is professional, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
* Is happy to work in all year groups across EYFS / KS1 and KS2.
* Has a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE, NCFE, NVQ).
