Work Location: Greater London (3 days Onsite)
Role Description
We require a PLM – QA Engineer for a leading online fashion retailer. The role will focus on delivering high-quality software through test automation and quality assurance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as an SDET QA, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
* Build API and UI automation using tools like Playwright, SpecFlow, and TestComplete.
* Lead scenario preparation for testing, covering all edge cases and critical paths.
* Participate in sprint planning, refining acceptance criteria from a testing perspective.
* Perform hands-on sprint testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
* Develop and maintain an updated regression pack for ongoing testing of critical functionalities.
* Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for both UI and API testing.
* Maintain heat maps and ensure visibility on quality metrics and test coverage.
* Collaborate with BAs and Solution Analysts to align test scenarios and requirements.
* Work with ASOS and supplier teams to keep the Test Approach aligned in Jira stories.
* Contribute to data preparation for testing environments.
* Keep QMetery updated with test cases, test runs, and results for proper documentation.
* Ensure continuous improvement of automation and manual testing processes with the latest tools.
* Collect test result data for release readiness reports.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience
Technical Skills:
* PLM System experience specifically Centric PLM is must
* Expertise in Playwright, SpecFlow, and RestAPI for UI and API automation.
* Strong experience in maintaining automated regression packs and sprint testing.
* Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking (JIRA).
* Hands-on experience in scenario preparation and data setup for test environments.
* Ability to update and align Test Approaches to Jira stories and project needs.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration with Azure DevOps.
* Familiarity with advanced testing frameworks and eagerness to explore new tools.
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
