We are seeking compassionate and proactive Nursery and Reception Teaching Assistants to join the team and provide dedicated support to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)—particularly those with ALN.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide individualised support for children with ALN, including those with:
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
• Developmental Delay or Sensory Processing issues
✔ Assist in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive activities that encourage participation and build core learning skills
✔ Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and monitor Individual Development Plans (IDPs) or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
✔ Create a consistent, nurturing environment that helps children feel safe, understood, and valued
✔ Support children in building positive routines, managing emotions, and developing confidence
✔ Use specialist strategies and interventions to promote learning, communication, and emotional wellbeing
About You:
✅ You care deeply about inclusion and supporting all children to reach their potential
✅ You are patient, resilient, and able to adapt your approach to meet individual needs
✅ You are a team player, able to communicate effectively with staff and families
✅ Experience supporting children with ALN is highly desirable—but if you have the right mindset, we offer full training and guidance
✅ You have a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how to support early development through play-based learning
What You’ll Need:
