About the Role
Position: Duty Manager, Malmaison
Rate of Pay / Hours: Up to 28k per year, training and development, 45 hours per week
Type of Contract: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh
As a Duty Manager, you will work across multiple departments as part of the F&B and Front Office teams in our bustling hotel.
You will be a hands-on manager with experience in a busy Food & Beverage Department, looking to develop from Junior HoD to Senior HoD.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the smooth running of all customer-facing departments.
2. Working alongside the breakfast team and managing busy check-out periods.
3. Coordinating with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure room standards are met.
Experience in Guest Relations is advantageous, as is an interest in local trends.
If successful, you may progress to a Head of Department role and potentially to a DGM role within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
