About the Role
Our Client is seeking an Organisational Development (OD) Consultant to lead transformational change within one of the UK's most dynamic local authorities. Key Responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and evaluate impactful learning interventions that enhance effectiveness and support talent development across the organisation.
2. Identify and deliver innovative people learning activities, blending leading-edge learning and development approaches to address critical skill needs and future capabilities.
3. Collaborate with teams across People & OD to drive internal mobility, support talent transfer, and strengthen organisational excellence.
4. Facilitate and deliver transformative leadership and management development courses to cultivate a high-performance culture.
5. Work with stakeholders to ensure all learning solutions align with the client’s strategic goals, performing needs analysis as required.
6. Evaluate learning initiatives, measure KPIs, and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A degree in a relevant field (Learning & Development, HR) or equivalent experience.
2. CIPD Chartered Membership (or working towards it) with evidence of professional development.
3. Strong expertise in learning and development theories and successful experience delivering initiatives within large organisations.
4. Experience with blended learning, content creation, interaction design, and learning management systems.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and manage a variety of stakeholders.
6. Knowledge of design thinking, modern learning approaches, and business technology.
Essential Experience:
1. Demonstrated ability to lead business transformation and change programs.
2. Experience in developing effective business cases and risk mitigation plans.
3. Proven track record of creating learning solutions tailored to diverse audiences and organisational needs.
