Support staff required in the West Kirby (CH48) area of the Wirral.
Our Client 'T' is a lively 6-year-old boy who loves being outdoors and playing on his trike. He enjoys technology and gaming. The right candidate needs to be caring, fun, have a bubbly personality, and have experience working with young people.
'T' has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and requires support with all aspects of his daily life, particularly communication. It is important that the candidate be adaptable, have a positive attitude, and be a good team player to ensure that he has the best opportunities afforded to him. The role includes collecting T from school and supporting his after-school routines, including the delivery of a therapy programme.
This role is a full-time position as it is important for T's parents to have consistent and committed support staff in place.
The proposed shift pattern is:
* Weekday shifts (Monday – Friday) 2pm - 8pm during term time.
* 8am until 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.
* These hours may be subject to some changes during school holidays depending on the client's schedule or any activities, however, this would be discussed with you in advance.
There is an established MDT in place who would offer the necessary training and support to ensure 'T' has consistency and to maximize his rehabilitation opportunities.
Rate of pay will be £16 per hour on weekdays and £18 per hour at weekends.
A private case manager is involved, working alongside the client and family. A full induction training programme will be organized to familiarize the successful candidate with our client’s needs and complete training on his therapy programme.
