IFA ADMINISTRATOR
Due to exceptional business growth, a new opening has arisen for an efficient and detail-oriented IFA Administrator to join a Financial Planning and Investment firm. This organisation has built a reputation for putting their clients at the very heart of what they do, as well as being a hugely supportive and collaborative team.
Note: Candidates who have started studying towards their RO certification or CII qualifications are preferred. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to progress your career into a Paraplanning position.
Salary: c.£25-32K depending on experience plus benefits, which include being part of an Employee Ownership Trust and quarterly incentives.
Key Responsibilities
* Input client details onto an in-house system.
* New business administration.
* Liaise with clients for new business information, Terms of Business, tax returns.
* File checking for completeness.
* Liaise with product providers (e.g., for valuations, trusts, product terms).
* Help advisers with meeting preparation, new client packs, agendas, etc.
* Support the Investment Proposition as necessary.
* Involvement in wider company projects as appropriate.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* A background in Financial Services/Paraplanning preferred or a desire to enter the IFA industry.
* Ensure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.
* Respond to client contact and requests quickly and correctly.
* Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, and ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Have a supportive and collaborative approach.
Note: Candidates with previous/recent financial services administration experience ideally in client/advisor support will be considered.
