Job Title: Maths Tutor with SEN Experience

Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored maths tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
* Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
* Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to engage and support students with SEN
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant qualification
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
* Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for maths
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching maths, preferably with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong understanding of different learning styles and how to accommodate them
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience using assistive technologies to support learning
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, with flexibility to accommodate students' schedules
* Work may involve travel to different educational settings within the Wokingham area
* Collaboration with other education professionals and parents/guardians

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
